News from the Vineyard
This year was a great test to our organic vineyard due to the higher-than-usual humidity, the late Spring rains and some heavy rainfall in midsummer. However - we have stood the test with flying colours and are pleased to report that organic methods to battle mildew have won the day. Our un-irrigated vineyard is thriving and heavily laden with high quality fruit - come out and have a look on the Vintage Weekend!
So far this vintage we have picked and crushed Chardonnay, Verdelho and Chenin Blanc. We've picked and crushed everything except our wonderful Spanish variety 'Pedro Ximenez' and Shiraz which makes our luscious dessert wines.
