Our wines are suitable for vegetarians, vegans and low sodium diets. Our red Shiraz wines and dessert wines are unfined and unfiltered.

At Harris Organic Wine we do not add ANY of the following to our organic wine although they are legal additives commonly used in Australian wines.

- Agar
- Alginates, calcium and potassium salts

- Calcium tartrate
- Carbon dioxide
- Cellulose
- Collagen
- Cupric citrate on a bentonite base
- Diatomaceous earth
- Dimethylpolysiloxane
- Egg white
- Gelatine
- Isinglass – Fish bladder
- Nitrogen
- Oak Chips
- Oxygen
- Perlite
- Phytates
- Plant proteins permitted as processing aids under clause 3(a) to Standard 1.3.3
- Polyvinyl polypyrrolidone - PVPP
- Potassium ferrocyanide
- PMS - sulfide
- SMS - sulphide
- Silicon dioxide
- Thiamin chloride*
- Thiamin hydrochloride*
- Vitamin C
- *Thiamin chloride and thiamin hydrochloride may only be added to wine, sparkling wine and fortified wine to facilitate the growth of micro-organisms
Harris Organic sometimes use these additives:
- Sulphur Dioxide (220) in the gaseous form (max 125 ppm)
- Bentonite clay as a clarifying agent in some wines
- Tartaric Acid (natural grape acid).
