While Harris Organic Wines began in 1998, our journey into crafting certified organic spirits is a story of pioneering dedication that cemented our place as the only certified organic winery and distillery in the Perth region. Our founder, Duncan Harris, combined his engineering background with a passion for organic viticulture to create a closed-loop system that transforms our estate-grown grapes into pure, high-quality spirits.

This commitment culminated in a series of landmark achievements that have helped define the certified organic spirits market in Australia.

2006 Distillery Established & Certified Organic Following our commitment to organic viticulture (certified organic since 2006), we secured our manufacturing license and officially became Harris Organic Distillery—Australia's first certified organic distillery.
2008 First Spirits Produced The first distilled spirits were created on-site, a culmination of years of preparation and technical expertise by our founder.
2010 Australia's First Certified Organic Vodka Our handcrafted, grape-based vodka and Australia's first certified organic brandy became commercially available, establishing Harris Organic Vodka as a revolutionary, non-grain, gluten-free spirit.
